Best Consumer Proposition (Utility/Energy)
This category will recognise utilities or energy companies that have brought to market a consumer-facing proposition,
product or service. While it is anticipated that utilities or energy companies will enter, propositions that include different services from entities outside of the energy sector are also welcomed.
Judges will score entries based on the scope of the proposition, any innovative approach used, customer satisfaction and overall impact on the EV sector itself. There are no geographical or time-based parameters attached to this category, however, additional credence will be given to propositions to have launched or achieved certain milestones after 1 September 2023 - 23 August 2024.

Best New Product (C&I & Public)
For this year’s Best New Product (C&I & Public) category, we are looking to hear from product manufacturers with tailored offerings for businesses, local authorities, councils, PTAs, charging networks and, effectively, any EV charging application other than residential.
Nominations are limited to products launched between 1 September 2023 - 23 August 2024 and should include precise details of how the product operates, what makes it different to others in the market, figures relating to scale and uptake of it and, crucially, customer testimonials.

Best New Services (C&I & Public)
For this year’s Best New Services (C&I & Public) category, we are looking to hear from service providers with tailored offerings for businesses, local authorities, councils, PTAs, charging networks and, effectively, any EV charging application other than residential.
Nominations are limited to services launched between 1 September 2023 - 23 August 2024, and should include precise
details of how the service operates, what makes it different to others in the market, figures relating to scale and uptake of it
and, crucially, customer testimonials.

Best New Product (Domestic)
The Best New Product (Domestic) award will recognise consumer-facing products in the EV industry targeted at home users, launched since 1 September 2023, but prior to the close of this year’s nominations window (23 August 2024).
Any and all products are encouraged to apply for this category, so long as they are specifically targeted at use in home settings and can demonstrate real and tangible benefit to EV consumers. Nominations should include precise details of how the product operates, what makes it different to others in the market, figures relating to scale and uptake of it and, crucially, customer testimonials.

Best New Services (Domestic)
The Best New Service (domestic) award will recognise consumer-facing products in the EV industry targeted at home users, launched since 1 September 2023, but prior to the close of this year’s nominations window (23 August 2024).
Any and all services are encouraged to apply for this category, so long as they are specifically targeted at use in home settings and can demonstrate real and tangible benefit to EV consumers. Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year (C&I & Public)
This category will celebrate hardware manufacturers’ actively supplying the market with EV chargers designated for use in the home. While all chargepoint speeds will be considered, this award is strictly limited to those manufacturer’s products intended for use in the home.
Nominations will be judged against their design, consumer benefits, customer experience and innovation. All products
referenced must have been released on or after 1 September 2023 and prior to the close of this year’s nominations window
(23 August 2024). Customer testimonials are encouraged, and specific technical details relating to equipment performance will also be welcomed.

Chargepoint Manufacturer of the Year (Domestic)
This category is open to charge point network operators, including any local authority or private sector company
operating a branded EV charging network that is open for public use. Nominations should include details of charging bays, destinations and technologies used, as well as evidence of customer satisfaction, use of renewable energy and all-round
strategy for the decarbonisation of transport.
Judges will score entries based on customer satisfaction, availability, technological innovation and commitment to maintenance and improvement. For consideration in this award, any examples or case studies used must be for facilities
opened before to the close of the nominations window (23 August 2024).

Chargepoint Network of the Year
This category is open to chargepoint network operators, including any local authority or private sector company operating a branded EV charging network that is open for public use. Nominations should include details of charging bays, destinations and technologies used, as well as evidence of customer satisfaction, use of renewable energy and all-round strategy for the decarbonisation of transport.
Judges will score entries based on customer satisfaction, availability, technological innovation and commitment to maintenance and improvement. For consideration in this award, any examples or case studies used must be for facilities opened prior to the close of the nominations window (23 August 2024).

Charging Destination Of The Year
This award is to recognise specific, individual EV charging destinations for public access, be they motorway service stations, public car parks, retail outlets or any other publicly accessible charging destination. To qualify, any destination must have more than three EV charging bays open to the general public.
Nominations should include details of the hardware and technology installed, other facilities at the destination (i.e. shops, working stations, food outlets) and evidence of customer satisfaction. To qualify, any destination must have been open to the public by the close of the nominations window (23 August 2024), and must have been opened after 1 September 2023.

Contractor of the Year (C&I & Public)
The Contractor of the Year (Domestic) award is designed to recognise those companies at the forefront of EV charge point installations in consumers’ homes. Eligible businesses include contractors and subcontractors responsible for any part of domestic EV charging operation, including design, installation, operation, optimisation and/or maintenance.
Nominees should include details of their scope of work, and achievements of the previous year and provide evidence of a
track record of exemplary work. Only evidence submitted for works conducted between 1 September 2023 - 23 August
2024 will be eligible for consideration, and entries without that detail will be judged accordingly.

Contractor of the Year (Domestic)
The Contractor of the Year (Domestic) award is designed to recognise those companies at the forefront of EV charge point installations in consumers’ homes. EV Financing Deal of the Year
For the second year we’re looking to shine a light on the innovative financial solutions designed to encourage EV
adoption. Increasingly we’re seeing companies launch EV tariffs helping to bring down the cost of charging for drivers whilst providing valuable grid flexibility. Often these are packaged up with deals, leasing arrangements and charge points, presenting new and attractive options for drivers looking to make the switch.
All finance-related initiatives should have formally been launched within the eligibility window of 1 September 2023 to the 23 August 2024 encouraged to apply, and our judging panel will score entries based on the intended aims of the initiative, scale of funds involved, any innovative practice or approach utilised
and impact upon the sector.

EV Marketing / Branding Campaign of the Year
The EV marketing/branding campaign of the year category will honour a specific marketing and/or branding campaign
released by an EV-dedicated company or entity after 1 September 2023, but prior to 23 August 2024.
We want to hear details from the campaign including objective, target audience, mediums used and ultimately how successful the campaign was, both qualitatively and quantitatively. We
will accept nominations from both EV companies and PR/marketing/branding agencies for this award.

EV Scale-Up of the Year
The EV Scale-Up of the Year looks to recognise the achievements of companies that have managed to go from strength-to-strength in recent years, to grow beyond start-up scale. Like Start-Up of the Year, there is strict eligibility criteria in place for this award, and it must have grown by 20% (whether this be in employee numbers or turnover) in the last three years, have a profitable and scalable model, but still be under five years in age at the time the nominations window is opened (therefore 24 April 2019).
Nominations should include details of the service the company provides, any industry innovations it has introduced and provide a succinct summary of how the company has managed to grow beyond the initial start-up phase into a growing and dynamic organisation.

EV Start-Up of the Year
This award is specially designed to celebrate the achievements
of start-up companies and new entrants to the EV market. There are strict eligibility criteria in place for this award, and we
will only accept nominations from companies launched less than two years prior to the opening of the nomination window (24 April 2024), therefore only companies launched after 24 April 2022 are eligible for this award. Furthermore, companies with more than 20 full-time employees are not eligible for this
award.
Nominations should include details of the service the company provides, any industry innovations it has introduced and provide a succinct summary of the company’s first two years in action.

EV Under 30 Star
This award will celebrate those working in the electric vehicle sector under the age of 30, recognising professional achievements, entrepreneurship, and influence. Nominees must be under the age of 30 at the time the nomination window closes (23 August 2024)
Those interested in this award can either nominate themselves or be nominated by their companies/networks, however all
nominations must include details of the company they work for, a track record of their achievements to date and how their work has been to the overall betterment of the EV sector. Any and all job titles will be considered for this award.

Fleet Electrification Strategy of the Year (Under 100 Vehicles)
This category is geared towards both private and public sector companies/organisations that have recently embarked on their fleet electrification strategy or initiative, and now have their first few (under 100) vehicles on the road. Far from just rolling out electric vehicles (including electrified
bikes, cars, lorries and beyond), the award will be presented to the organisation that provides details of the wider strategy.
This can include power procurement, employee engagement and/or behavioural change, energy management strategies
and any innovative or novel technologies adopted as part of the strategy.
Details of the strategy must have been released after 1 September 2023 and before the close of this year’s nominations window (23 August 2024).

Fleet Electrification Strategy of the Year (Over 100 Vehicles)
This category is geared towards both private and public sector companies/organisations that are well advanced in their fleet electrification strategy or initiative (over 100 vehicles on the road), transitioning large swathes of their fleet to low-carbon vehicles.
Far from just rolling out electric vehicles (including electrified bikes, cars, lorries and beyond), the award will be presented
to the organisation that provides details of the wider strategy.
This can include power procurement, employee engagement and/or behavioural change, energy management strategies
and any innovative or novel technologies adopted as part of the strategy.
Details of the strategy must have been released after 1 September 2023 and prior to the close of this year’s nominations window (23 August 2024).

OEM of the Year (Car & Bus/Commercial Vehicle)
This category will recognise the achievements of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in introducing electric vehicles of all shapes and sizes into their portfolios. It will be judged on the merits of the manufacturer’s existing suite of electric cars and any others launched between 1 September 2023 and 23 August 2024.
The category will also recognise research and development commitments, consumer engagement and overall electrification
strategy, including partnerships with charging manufacturers, network operators and energy companies. Supply chain sustainability and transparency will also be reflected upon highly.

Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year
The Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year award is to celebrate private sector companies that have gone above and beyond to further the penetration of EV infrastructure.
Nominations should include details of any physical installations or planning, workplace schemes to encourage behavioural change, and any planning to underpin those elements, including commitment to renewable energy procurement. Nominations are strictly limited to private sector companies – both limited and public – however there is no geographical limit to this category.
All works must have been completed on or after 1 September 2023, and prior to the close of this year’s nominations window (23 August 2024).

Public Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year
The Public Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year award will recognise the work local authorities, regional councils and other public sector bodies have done to further the growth of electric vehicles by installing EV infrastructure. Nominations should include details of overall schemes of works, installations and any planning or overall strategy that underpins the body’s commitment to electric vehicles. While we expect such infrastructure projects to focus primarily on the actual charge points, we will also consider the inclusion of associated works, be it network-related technologies to mitigate the impact
of EVs, battery storage, on-site generation, or a combination of those listed.
Nominations for this category are strictly limited to those in the public sector. All works must have been completed on or
after 1 September 2023, and prior to the close of this year’s nominations window (23 August 2024).

Public Transport Authority of the Year
The Public Transport Authority of the Year category celebrates the successes of local authority transport strategies in their
specific regions. Nominations will be strictly limited to those in England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland. Nominations should
include news of the authority’s track record in managing EV uptake and adoption, its EV infrastructure track record, how the authority has engaged with both consumers and the EV sector,
and any investments it has made into the space.
Special credence will be given to evidence submitted relating to actions taken by the PTA between 1 September 2023 and 23 August 2024.

Special Recognition - Company
The EVIEs Special Recognition (Company) award is designed to celebrate companies that have been inspirational within the sector, helping to truly take the industry forward through their leadership, dedication and ingenuity.
Our judging panel will assess companies on their wider impact on driving forwards the industry, as much as the success of the company itself. Nominations are welcome from the company itself, but special credence will be given to nominations from other people or bodies.

Special Recognition - Person
The EVIEs Special Recognition (Person) award is designed to celebrate the achievements of truly inspiring individuals within the EV sector, reflecting on those who have truly taken the industry forward through their leadership, dedication and ingenuity. Our judging panel will assess individuals on their own merits, and as a result will also discuss potential recipients collectively, however we look forward to receiving nominations from the industry itself.

DiversitEV Award
Our ‘DiversitEV’ award is to recognise the EV-related companies, entities or other collective that has gone above and beyond in order to promote diversity within its workplace. We want to hear specific details as to how companies have done this, be it through hiring/training and education mechanisms, public awareness efforts, activism and/or any other recognised effort to promote diversity in the EV sector. Employee testimonials will be greatly received, while any and all evidence regarding the above efforts will be assessed by our judging panel.
